What's the difference between the S21 Ultra and the S21 plus?
The main differences between the two phones is their size, battery life and camera.
Even though both devices are equipped with an AMOLED panel, the S21 Ultra gains in quality with a QHD+ screen where the S21 Plus is content with only full HD+. This model is therefore aimed at users who are demanding and/or frequently using their smartphone for gaming or video content.
There's only a 0.2-inch screen size difference between the Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra, and it makes a difference — the Galaxy S23 Ultra's 6.8-inch display with sharper corners is noticeably bigger than the Galaxy S23 Plus' 6.6-inch display with more rounded corners.
For Galaxy S21 Ultra owners: You don't need to upgrade yet. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a faster new processor and better cameras with improved low light and dynamic range. But the Galaxy S21 Ultra is still recent, and you're better off waiting to see what the Galaxy S24 Ultra has to offer.
If you want the most powerful phone in the series, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is for you. It comes with the largest display at 6.8 inches, the biggest battery at 5,000mAh, and the best camera setup with a primary 108MP sensor. It also comes with as much as 16GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S21 has a screen size of 6.2 inches and has a charge of up to 5-6 hours*, whereas the S21 Ultra measures in at 6.8 inches and can last for up to 8 hours after a full charge. The S21 Ultra also out performs the S21 with regards to photography with its professional grade camera.
One advantage the S21 Plus does have is that it houses a bigger battery, at 4,800mAh compared to 4,500mAh. The S20 Plus' battery was already reliable enough, lasting you more than a full day even under heavier use, so with the extra 300mAh, the S21 Plus is even more dependable.

Although they're both large devices, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is considerably larger with its 6.8-inch display, compared to the Galaxy S23 Plus' 6.6-inch one. The Ultra is taller, wider, and thicker, plus its screen is curved versus the Plus' flat glass front.
Is S21 better than S21 Plus?
The larger Samsung S21 Plus also marks its difference by the presence of a glass back, which portrays more quality than the plastic used on the S21. It remains identical to the S21 in terms of performance, with the same processor and 5G compatibility.
But here we are — the S21 phones are cheaper, and it's not because they're worse in some way or have fewer features. There's no catch here. The lower costs are due to the natural maturity of 5G technology over time, Samsung told Insider.

Galaxy S21 Ultra goes out, makes space for S22 Ultra
A previous leak suggested that Samsung could be mostly relying on its Exynos 2200 chip, which has a new GPU that is based on the AMD RDNA 2 architecture. Leaked website data suggests that the cameras could not be much different from the S21 Ultra.

Are Samsung S21 Plus and ultra the same size?
If you need a large display, the Ultra sports a 6.8-inch screen, while the Plus is marginally smaller at 6.7-inches (however to be honest you don't really notice this).
As for dimensions and weight, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm and 228g, the Galaxy S21 Plus is 161.5 x 75.6 x 7.8mm and 202g, and the standard Samsung Galaxy S21 is 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm and 172g.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has the best and the most versatile camera setup in the lineup. It features a quad-camera setup consisting of a 108MP main camera and two 10MP telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom. The regular and Plus models only feature a 50MP primary camera and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
